Curtain Call follows the story of Drayton Entertainment at its central location in Cambridge, Ontario from concept to Opening night, giving audiences an exclusive look at the creativity and chaos of crafting live theatre productions.

Episodes

Episode 1

With rising audience expectations and a small army of employees relying on a hit, the stakes are always high at Drayton Entertainment. As senior staff question the choice of the next play, Alex explains how his immigrant experience both helped and hindered his impossible dream.  

Episode 2

As the cast works out challenges on the new stage, the props department race to keep up with the directors expectations. Meanwhile, the costume department figures out how to create functional outfits for the 17th century.  

Episode 3

Alex and Aaron work through the overwhelming physical and mental demands of the leading roles. Konrad offers insight into at a key, yet unseen, character in every live musical.  

Episode 4

With only four days to opening night, the cast and crew rally to bring all elements together to pull off a much needed hit.  

Episode 5

Alex makes final preparations for his return to the spotlight. Backstage, the cast and crew work out last minute adjustments to the show. Front of house works against the ticking clock to get the sell out crowd organized before the lights go down.
